On 20th June 2018, Toyo Denki Seizo K.K. celebrated its 100th anniversary.

Founded in 1918 with the mission of pioneering the domestic manufacturing of railway electrical equipment in Japan. A spectacular feeling that we want to export products to domestic as well as to many Orient countries and contribute to the development of the country has come from the name of "Toyo Denki Seizo K.K.". And this feeling has been handed down to successive employees, and now our products are contributing to the development of social infrastructure systems around the world.

In anticipation of the 100th anniversary and beyond, in order to create the Toyo Denki Seizo Group appropriate for the new era, we will strive to improve business profitability and promote global business expansion and establish a position as a specialized manufacturer.

In particular, as a "100th Anniversary Commemorative Project", by implementing the integration of industrial works in the newly established Shiga Ryuo Plant and the restructuring of the Yokohama Plant, for the next 100 years, improvement of production capacity of the transportation business, we can create a foundation to build a stable business structure of industrial business. This new plant was completed in May 2018 and started full operation in June, celebrating the 100th anniversary of its founding.

We will continue to strive to improve the quality of our business, improvement of technology and skills, as a corporate group that continues to grow globally and continuously.
